"Recruiting is a Go" Weekly Update 11/19/07

Its about time for us to once again start recruiting for the Advanced Rebellion. I think the site has finally entered the Beta stages so recruiting is a go. If your excited then good, its about FREAKING time huh? Anyways I got a nice long essay for you to read in the update, hey it can't always be about shooting people that piss you off, trust me I've tried that, it never works. Enjoy the new update.

First off I need to regard our member status. Since, the last update Trum and Regnier have returned and we also picked a a few new members. I see much potential in them and hope the have a lengthy stay in our guild. I also believe that Shjenk Kaise and Fenn Sysha are two of the most dedicated souls I've ever seen. Its about time that Fantastic Four (Coke, Broon, Aven and Me) had a little help huh?

Regarding site upgrades I have a number of things to present. Marines now have forum icons, and a vast number of pages have been added to the shipyards. I have added a page of all space vehicles that we will use throughout the clan. To view it go to the Republic Docks page under the shipyards. I recommend smugglers check it out especially sense your vehicles are presented their as well. I'm sure most of you have noticed out new banner and from what I'm told its very nice. I must thank you all for the support on that and will still be making minor tweaks here and there but nothing to change it too much because this one has been my best work by far. The Cantina is finally underway as well. Uraikol and Monster are gonna be happy. It's nothing to special right now but more pages will be added in time and I'm always taking more ideas for new pages in any aspect of our site.

For my conclusion, I encourage all our members to get out there and get active. Find us members and good ones at that. I will be posting our recruiting forum on the swtor site very soon.

The Advanced Rebellion

The Advanced Rebellion is a guild that has been around for a long time.  Going into our third year of service we have established ourselves throughout many games that call The Star Wars Universe home.  Our newest game that we have moved to is the MMORPG, Star Wars: The Old Republic, which is currently in development by Lucas Arts and Bioware.  Never failing to let their fans down they have promised that this will be the best game that has ever been released by Lucas Arts and Bioware.  With more content than all of the other bioware games, The Old Republic plans to be released sometime next year making a huge impact in the gaming world. 

Recruitment

We are currently looking for any members that are willing to fight in the name of justice and the old republic.  We will recruit any member regardless of

• Race
• Religion
• Age
• Country
• Timezone
• Origin

We like to give everyone a chance to tryout so sign up today and see if you have what it takes.  We will also take you regardless of what class you are looking to play as

• Jedi
• Trooper
• Smuggler
• Marines (naval specialization for troopers)

We are a proud guild of people so we only take members that will act their best around others and that can get along well without cuasing disturbances and fights.  We are watched under the safety of our admins and moderators that monitor the site and so their best to set a shining example of how to act in the guild.

Orientation

As a republic guild we have decided that we will not be oriented around one type of play style.  We will support all of the playstyles below if they are supported in the game

• Player vs. Player (PvP)
• Player vs. Environment (PvE)
• Role Playing (RP)
• Crafting (C)
• International (I)

This allows our members to have more freedom and to pursue multiple types of tasks without losing interest in our guild or the the game.'

Guild Structure

Our guild is led overall by the high council that composed of 4 troopers, 4 jedi and 4 smugglers to make sure that all classes have equal balance.  One the fourth class is realeased they shall also be represented equally in our council.  In addition each class has their own type of representation.  The jedi have the jedi council that lead them, the troopers and marines are commanded by the 3 generals and 3 admirals and the smugglers are commanded by the smuggler leaders.  Each leader among us has been with the clan for some while and is universly approved by everyone in the guild.
